Each November and December regional School Theatrical Arts Recognition, or STAR Festivals take place across Canada. A regional theatre festival is a one or two day event where students get to perform and watch performances. Select regions also offer workshops! The purpose of Regionals are to create an event that: builds community, celebrates educational theatre and facilitates student learning! Students can take their work from Regionals, to Nationals in a variety of locations across Canada.

Regional Theatre Festival Costs - Students only pay $16.00 and it is only $11.00 for Inducted Theatrical Arts Guild (TAG) member students to perform. For that cost they can enter up to three different categories at festival and attend any workshops offered. Students who want to come and only watch the action and participate in workshops pay $6.00 each.
